The Department is charged with offering services to the entire University Community at both competitive and recreational level.  To achieve this the Department organizes both intra mural and extra mural events. The Department organizes Inter years, Inter schools, with a view of placing our teams in the national leagues, championships, inter university sports events, national and international events. 
Having been fortunate to have the Bomet IAAF Stadium at our disposal, it is our vision to nurture talented students in various sporting events such as Football, Rugby, Volleyball, Athletics etc. The Multipurpose Hall enables the development of indoor sporting activities such as Karate, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and Scrabble.
The Department with the support of the University Administration has a vision of nurturing talented students by innovating new and sustainable ways which will place BUC as a premier University in matters of sports talent development and management.
